Barbara studied at the Bath Academy of Art in Corsham, and has been painting ever since. Her work has been shown in galleries across the UK and has travelled far beyond—finding homes everywhere from New Zealand to South Africa, Singapore to the Scottish Highlands.

She paints with instinct, always evolving, and never tied to one style or subject. Sometimes her work is rooted in the wild beauty of Cornwall—the moors, the rugged coastline near Fowey, or the shifting seasons in her own garden in Lostwithiel. Other times, her bold floral pieces draw on colours and impressions from travels in Mexico, Guatemala and Singapore.

Whether sketching outdoors or building up layers in the studio, Barbara works with joy, curiosity and a love for nature in all its forms. Visitors to her studio are welcome by appointment.
